Maori language week is a festival for Maori people  .They on that day do Kapa haka dances and  the lady’s  do a dance  with the poi,On that day they  people invite there relatives and family fora Maori feast.In Maori language week  people go to church, In the day they even celebrate it by giving gifts to other people to and play Maori games to. Maori language means to me is love and kindness. So for Maori language week we have been learning a   waiata.

On Tuesday for Cyber smart we made an online newspaper.I wrote about swimming and  all the things we learned. We even add other ads , videos and comments to.

We have been learning about the Hauraki Gulf and have created  slides of all of the information about the Hauraki Gulf.These slides are full of interesting information and you can find  new thing that you don’t even know.

This week i enjoyed picking up rubbish from Keith hay park. All senior classes went to Keith hay park ,all the classes  split up into different places in Keith hay park. We found a lot of rubbish over there, we found food wraps ,plastic bottles, plastic cups,vapes,pens,paper and a lot of stuff in the stream too.

We have been working and learning about the Hauraki gulf. We even been drawing the sea  animals and doing some facts, brainstorms and lots of thing that we don’t know about the Hauraki gulf. So we have been doing some slides about the Hauraki gulf with a buddy from our class, we have written some facts, a fact about one sea animal in the Hauraki gulf and other things about it.

for matariki  we coloured  some stars  that represents  the Maori stars and the stars representation  of the  stars name and what it the god of.
